Overview

The ColpotomizOR Tube™ is a single-use device that provides gynecologists with the safest and most effective method of performing laparoscopic hysterectomies and colpotomies.

The instrument is designed to improve visualization and identification of vital vessels and structures around the cervix, assisting in the safe removal of the uterus.

The anatomical curved shape of the tube acts as a safe guide during sectioning of the uterus and ensures no trauma to the tissue, whilst the airtight valves prevent loss of pneumoperitoneum after colpotomy.

The tube also offers a safe entry point for needle and suture for laparoscopic vaginal vault repair.

Testimonials

“I have been performing laparoscopic hysterectomies using the McCartney / ColpotomizOR Tube for many years. The tube is an outstanding instrument that allows me to inspect the surgical field, extract the uterine body and close the vaginal vault while maintaining the pneumoperitoneum.”
